Morpheus8

Remodel. Tighten. Refine.

Radiofrequency microneedling for the face and body, customized to your tissue, your goals, and the depth we actually want to treat.

Maybe your jawline doesn’t feel as defined as it used to. The skin on your neck feels looser. You’re noticing crepey texture, acne scars, or changes in firmness—or an area on your abdomen or thighs where loose skin and unwanted fat bother you.

The settings matter. The depth matters. And where we use that depth matters.

How It Works

What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy. The microneedles enter the tissue at controlled depths while radiofrequency energy is delivered beneath the surface.

This allows us to work within different layers of the skin and tissue to support collagen remodeling, improve firmness and texture, and address specific concerns on the face or body.

I have a powerful device available to me. That doesn’t mean I need to use its most aggressive settings everywhere.

Morpheus8 can be adjusted based on:

  • The area being treated
  • Your skin and tissue
  • The depth of the concern
  • Whether we want to preserve or reduce underlying fat
  • Your tolerance and recovery preferences
  • The result we are trying to create

The treatment should make sense for you.

Face + Neck

Preserve volume where it matters

On the face and neck, Morpheus8 may address skin laxity, fine lines, wrinkles, crepey skin, texture, acne scarring, loss of firmness, the lower face, jawline, and neck.

Some areas may benefit from deeper treatment. Other areas need a more conservative approach, particularly when we want to preserve facial volume.

In selected areas beneath the cheeks, deeper treatment may be used when reducing unwanted fat is actually part of the goal. But I do not automatically try to reduce facial fat simply because Morpheus8 has the ability to reach it.

Your face needs to be treated like your face.

Where you carry volume, where you have laxity, your facial structure, your skin quality, and what you actually want to change all matter.

Individual results vary. Treatment plans and number of sessions are personalized.

Body

Morpheus8 for the body

Morpheus8 can also be used at deeper settings on the body. This allows us to address loose or crepey skin while, in selected areas, targeting unwanted fat as part of a body-contouring treatment plan.

I most commonly treat the abdomen, thighs, neck, areas of loose or crepey skin, and selected areas with unwanted fat. Other areas may also be appropriate depending on what you would like to address.

Depth has a different purpose here.

For body treatments, we can use the depth of Morpheus8 very differently than we would on areas of the face where preserving volume is important.

The goal may be firmer-looking skin, improvement in tissue quality, contouring, reduction of unwanted fat in a selected area, or a combination of these.

Individual results vary. Treatment plans and number of sessions are personalized.

Your Treatment Plan

One treatment is rarely the plan

Morpheus8 works through processes that continue after the treatment itself. The tissue responds and collagen remodeling develops over time.

We are building a result over time rather than expecting one session to do all the work.

3–6treatments in a typical initial series
4 weeksapproximate spacing between sessions
6–12 monthstypical maintenance interval as needed

The number of sessions depends on the treatment area, tissue condition, goals, depth and energy, and how your body responds.

Comfort

What does Morpheus8 feel like?

Before treatment, I use numbing agents to make the procedure more comfortable. If you would like additional pain support, we can discuss appropriate options before your treatment.

What you feel can vary depending on the treatment area, depth, and energy. The goal is to make the treatment tolerable while still using settings appropriate for what we are trying to accomplish.

Recovery

What is the downtime?

Face: typically 1–5 days

You may look and feel sunburned for the first day or two, with redness, swelling, sensitivity, or visible treatment marks. Makeup can generally be worn beginning on day two when the skin is recovering normally.

Body: sometimes 2–3 weeks

The amount of visible recovery depends on the area, depth, energy, and type of treatment performed.

Thoughtful Settings

More intensity isn’t always better

Morpheus8 is highly customizable, and that is one of the reasons I like it. But customization requires judgment.

If we are treating your abdomen and intentionally want deeper tissue remodeling and fat reduction, our approach may be very different from treating your face where we want to improve laxity while preserving volume.

The goal is to use the depth and energy that make sense for the result we want.

What you see on the surface immediately afterward does not necessarily tell us what is happening deeper within the tissue.

Aftercare

After your treatment

Your post-treatment instructions will depend on the area and intensity of your treatment. In general, you will want to treat the skin carefully while it recovers.

Most clients can return to normal daily activities quickly after facial treatment, although redness and a sunburned appearance may be visible for a few days.

Avoid prolonged sun exposure during the early healing period and be particularly careful with sun exposure for 2–3 days after treatment. You will receive specific aftercare instructions.

Safety

Who may not be a candidate?

Treatment may not be appropriate during pregnancy or for people with certain implanted electronic devices, including pacemakers.

Certain medical or autoimmune conditions, medications, previous procedures, and other health factors may also affect whether Morpheus8 is appropriate or how treatment should be performed.
